The menopause transition is a weird-ass time when everything in our bodies and lives is changing.
To get through it, you need:
Menopause
Coming-Of-Age Camp
Our group experience to break rules that no longer serve us and enjoy the f*ck out of the menopause transition.
Starts February 26th - details below.
*For those in peri or post menopause.
Zoom Online: All the camp goodness without the mosquitos.
So uh, how exactly does one enjoy the f*ck out of menopause at camp?
By embarking on a gutsy initiation into midlife adolescence. When so much is changing, it’s the perfect time to ditch what no longer serves us and to live from unhindered, unbridled truth.
• You’ll say “see ya bye” to old rules from the first half of your life that no longer fit who you are.
• You’ll get a bangin’ midlife strut in your step - the kind that comes from allowing the world to see all of who you are.
• You’ll be with a group of fab women who get you because they’re going through the same things. And who are up for shenanigans.
With all the physical and life changes…
It’s time to buck the “shoulds” that we’ve lived for decades.
That’s what the menopause transition is really about.
During Camp:
• Wave “buh-bye” to old rules that you now realize are crap and never applied to you.
• Bathe in a steady stream of “we get you” because your campmates are going through the same changes.
• Find courage to nix the b.s. in your life and spend energy as you really want to spend it.
• Actually feel kinda gorgeous when you break rules, even amidst your physical changes and symptoms.
• Gain audacity to follow desires that you wouldn’t have followed before.
• Feel more at peace with this “aging” thing that’s happening whether we like it or not.
• Laugh hard. Like, “My face hurts” hard. Because put a bunch of midlife menopausal women in one group together and mischief will absolutely ensue.
• Become shockingly unafraid to be all of who you are.
“My voice and my courage to express who I truly am and what I want to create - that’s what the program freed up.”
I’m a professor and historian, and after Free Your Menopause, I put on an event called, “A May Day Celebration - In Honor Of Women’s Radical Dreams Of Emancipation”. Before , I wouldn’t have had the courage to design an event like that because it was an edgy thing to do in an academic setting: ‘What will people think, they’re gonna think I’m crazy because this is so not how you would normally do this.’
The sessions got me to the point where I COULD voice this vision even though it was unconventional. My voice and my courage to express who I truly am and what I want to create - that’s what the program freed up.
Another reason I felt the courage to truly express my vision - I was buoyed up by a whole group of peers who were cheering me on.
- Jennifer G.
Menopause isn’t just physical changes.
The menopause transition is a midlife adolescence where we rebel out of anything that isn’t true in our lives…
And stand only for what truly turns us on.
As physical changes make it undeniable that we’re aging, the urge emerges to nix what we’ve been “tolerating” in order to spend precious time and energy only on what really matters.
Plus we now have decades of life experience under our belts to know the difference.
And bottomline, we’re just too sweaty to deal with nonsense. Or cranky. Or bloated. Or brain-foggy. Or constipated. Or sleep-deprived. Lol.
You - After Camp:
• Old rules? Gone. You’ll walk through life lighter, clearer, and with the authority of a woman who knows what (and who) she’s done pretending to tolerate.
• Your mojo’s on full blast with confidence (and zero guilt) to cut loose what drains you and say yes to what lights you up.
• You’ll feel wildly yourself — unrestricted, unchained, unrestrained. The woman you’ve always been under the “shoulds” finally takes the stage.
• You’ll make bolder choices just because you want to - pleasures, new ways of being — no permission slip required.
• You’ll feel like Aphrodite in your body, even with menopause symptoms and unwelcome physical changes. You’ll radiate that “I’m a whole vibe” kind of beauty, which is a happy side effect of breaking free from what no longer serves you.
• You’ll say the thing, do the thing, wear the thing - and not feel like you have to apologize for it.
• You’ll no longer dread aging and instead party like a midlife personal growth rock star. Because when you’re this free from what’s been holding you back, every year just adds to your power.
• You’ll know a whole virtual cabin full of women who get it — and get you. The kind of laughter and mischief that is medicine for your midlife soul.
Now THAT’s enjoying the fuck out of menopause.
“Now I give myself permission to really feel into what I need and desire… and ask for it.”
As someone who grew up people pleasing and fawning and making sure everything’s okay for everyone else, after Free Your Menopause I see how clicking back into all those old ways of being is bullshit.
Before I used to believe that bullshit, but not now it’s “Oh no, we did this for the first half of life already, and we are so done doing this.”
Now if I feel stuck or a way I don’t want to feel, I give myself permission to really feel into what I need and desire… and ask for it.
Also, being with the group has caused me to see myself through the lens of these beautiful women and to hear what they would tell me instead - how they would point out where my self-berating logic is flawed, and tell me to use my badassery to lift myself up out of those old tapes running in my head. Plus they would lift me up too.
- Krisha C.
How to know if Menopause Coming-Of-Age Camp is calling you:
Before you scroll any further… pause for a sec.
Take a breath and ask yourself:
What “rules” have I been living by that don’t actually fit me anymore?
What’s one truth about who I really am or what I really want that I’ve been hiding, diminishing or censoring?
And what would it feel like to finally stop holding back — to just live that truth full-on?
If your body and brain are a big YES to that last one…
That’s your inner rebel saying, “It’s time.”
This is exactly what Camp is for — that raw, gorgeous moment when you realize you’re ready to do more than just survive menopause and midlife - you’re ready to enjoy the fuck out of it.
Maybe your urge is to…
Break free of old social norms about who you get to be as you age.
Change up a relationship where you don’t feel seen or respected.
Claim your value in a situation where it hasn’t been recognized.
Set boundaries that you’ve been needing to set.
Stop caring so much about what others think of you.
Tell those age-shaming body image voices to fuck off.
Change your work so that it fits who you are now.
Be more of a receive since you’ve been mostly a “do-er'“.
No longer center your actions around people pleasing.
Ditch your overdriven ways and have time to rest.
Live more wildly. Have the audacity to just go for it.
No longer worry about rocking the boat.
Speak up and show up when you used to hide.
Or anything else that you want to break free of.

Session 1, Feb. 26th: Break Free
Share about your biggest defining moments, lessons and wisdoms gained from the first half of your life.
Get to know your camp sisters by hearing about theirs too.
Spot the “rules” that have run your life (and start shedding the ones that no longer serve).
Feel the first flicker of freedom in saying, “I’m done with that” and “I’m ready for this instead.”
Session 2, March 5th: Get Unruly
Stoke the fire of your awakening — that new, rule-breaking self who’s ready to take up space.
Practice saying no where you used to cave and yes where you used to hesitate.
Discover what wants to be expressed through you now that you’ve peeled off old crusty expectations.
Start embodying a new way of being when you speak, make choices & move about in the world.
Session 3, March 12th: Honor & Open
Name what you’re releasing — roles, relationships, obligations, beliefs — so that you can fully step into awakening power.
Feel the weight lift as you recognize and honor what’s ending, leaving you lighter and ready to meet yourself on new ground.
Session 4, March 19th: Super Heroine Mojo
Identify the biggest challenge or turning point of your peri or post menopause years.
Reframe that “hard thing” as your portal — the exact fire forging your next-level strength.
Name the strength this challenge is calling up in you, knowing it is key for your most wildly fulfilling next chapter.
Step into ownership of that power instead of shrinking from it.
Session 5, March 26th: The Strut
Design your Signature Strut — the physical walk that expresses your new confidence and energy. Then literally walk it.
Craft your Signature Mantra to keep you rooted in your strength no matter what’s going on. Then voice it.
Feel that surge of “oh hell yes, here I am” every time you do these practices with your camp sisters cheering you on.
Session 6, April 2nd: Embodied Action
Celebrate the rules you’ve broken and the truths you’ve begun to live.
Witness and be witnessed in the power you now own.
Anchor your new strength in a real-world action that marks the start of your next adventure.
Leave with a new way of walking through life (and menopause) as the badass babe that you are.

“I was always trying to say the ‘right’ thing. Now I say whatever is my first instinct.”
After Free Your Menopause, I was inspired to go on a 28-day cross-country road trip by myself. From Calgary to Colorado to Seattle to Vancouver and back. Music blaring, windows down, hair flying back, it just felt like freedom.
Plus one of my stops was the Free Your Menopause in-person retreat.
I got into this groove: “Okay, life’s gonna happen and I’ve got all these tools I’ve learned now - if things go sideways, I know I can bring myself back to that feeling of confidence.” And it really helped to know that all the other babes in the group were out there cheering me on and excited about the trip too.
It’s also now easier for me to say things than ever before. Before the program, I was so worried about what others would think and I was always trying to say the “right” thing. Now I say whatever is my first instinct. If someone thinks it’s too much, who cares, that’s their problem not mine. I was not that way before the program!

FAQ
Got questions? Here’s the scoop on all the things you may be wondering and why women keep saying Menopause Coming-Of-Age Camp changed everything.
General FAQ’s
-
Yes! Perimenopause is if you’re having menopause symptoms and you’re still getting your period, even irregularly. Post menopause is if you’ve reached 12 months without a period. Menopause Coming-Of-Age camp is powerful for women in perimenopause and also for women in post menopause.
-
Great question! And nope, this isn’t a health or medical course. This program is for the inner personal growth work that makes all the difference in how you approach this transitional time of life. To address your symptoms on a physical health or medical level, please reach out to your health providers.
-
Yes, all sessions are online for this program. It’s amazing how much connection we can foster even in Zoom meetings. It’s all about the experiences and activities provided - these will ensure that you experience real connection.
AND a cool in-person bonus: If you participate in any of the Free Your Menopause 4-week or 6-week programs on Zoom, you automatically receive a lifetime pass to our once-yearly in-person retreat. These usually happen in the summer in Boulder, Colorado USA. The retreat is a day-long immersion and all you have to do is pay for your food and lodging - the retreat itself is free for you. This is a wonderful way to meet your program sisters in person, plus also other participants from other Free Your Menopause programs.
-
Yes, all sessions are recorded. You’ll have access online for one year, and then you’ll be given the option to download the videos when the year of access comes to an end. So you can revisit the process any time you need a refresh. You can also download the videos to keep on your own devices at any time, not just when the year is up.
And if you miss a session, it will be recorded and posted in the online portal within 24 hours. You’ll also have all the Camp Treasure Pack prompts between sessions, plus support inside the group space — you won’t miss a beat.
-
The group is most effective when you attend all the sessions, while at the same time it’s just true that sometimes life happens and you can’t make it. Ideally, please commit within yourself to attend at minimum five of the six sessions. That commitment will give you and the other group members the best experience. And if you can attend all six sessions, then you’ll get the most out of the experience. Being there in real-time is always the most effective.
-
That’s another important question, glad you asked. And yes, to participate, you are required to show yourself on video during our Zoom meetings. This creates the safety that we need in order to do deep, effective work together. If one or more participants aren’t showing themselves on Zoom, it will feel as if there are strangers in the room and it will be hard to open up. So yes, we definitely want to see you!
And yes, you’ll be sharing personally. It’s really what makes the program so powerful. Sharing your own truths and having them witnessed by others is empowering and cathartic. Hearing others’ truths will give you insight into yours, plus there is also healing and catharsis in being the witness.
Most find that once they see how real and judgment-free this space is, they want to share. There’s something magical that happens when you realize everyone else is navigating the same wild ride, and that our collective sharing creates a “whole is greater than the sum of its parts” synergy for all.

Important question. No, this is not therapy. This is guided life passage work facilitated by Lisa who is an Interspiritual Minister. This work guides you to understand menopause as a major life passage, and within that context helps you navigate the various challenges and opportunities that surface during a major life passage, which not coincidentally are the main topics of each program ;)
Bottomline, this program can beautifully complement therapy, but it is not a substitute for therapy.
-
Nope. You just have to be navigating peri or post menopause. You’ll hear words like “rite of passage” and “sacred,” but there’s no dogma, religion, or belief system to sign onto. This work IS spiritual in that you will feel deeply and connect with your own important truths, plus also feel connected with others. You can do that whether you see yourself as a “spiritual” person or not, and whether you’ve been in programs like this before or if this your very first one. “Spiritual” here just means meaningful.
-
Yes — absolutely. This space honors the full spectrum of identities, bodies, and lived experiences. If you are a person navigating menopause, you belong here.
Language is limiting and I do use the word “woman” on this site, which does not apply to all in peri or post menopause AND we welcome everyone who is experiencing this transition.
-
If you sign up, then attend the first session and decide it’s not for you, then let me know via email within 24 hours of the end of that first session and you can have a full refund.
Camp FAQ’s
-
There are 6 sessions on Zoom. Each session is 2 hours in length with 13 participants max in the group. Here are the specific dates and times:
Feb. 26th + March 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th + April 2nd, 2026
Zoom at 12p PT / 1p MT / 2p CT / 3p ET / 8p BST / 5a Sydney next day.
*All sessions are recorded, but I encourage you to sign up on if you can make most of them, otherwise you won’t get the intended experience.
In addition to the live group sessions, you’ll use your downloadable Camp Treasure Pack between sessions for real-life practices, and you’ll share about how it’s going in the discussion thread in your group’s online portal. The practices do not take up much time at all - in fact, they mostly happen while you’re living your life so you won’t have to set much time aside for them.
Each group is small and cozy — minimum of 5 women and max of 13 women — so that we have the benefit of intimacy and really getting to know each other, while also varied experiences and perspectives.
If you haven’t already, earlier on this page you can read in-depth here about how the sessions are facilitated.
And earlier on this page, you can read in-depth here about the focus and outcome for each session.

That’s 100% normal. Every transformation starts with some fear.
But you won’t be doing it alone — you’ll have a whole cabin full of women cheering you on.You also won’t be pushed to change anything you’re truly not ready to change. Instead, we’ll strengthen your inner knowing of what’s right for you, and support you to follow that instinct.
Also something to think about: Change is already happening. Camp just helps you be at the helm of midlife changes, instead of being tossed around by them. -
No, you just have to be you. True you. Whether that’s loud or quiet. Introverted or extroverted. Or if what’s true is that you’re flipping the script from one to the other. You can be any vibe you want. To allow your unbridled authenticity - to be it, express it, act on it - that’s enjoying the fuck out of menopause.
-
Age doesn’t matter here — what matters is that your soul is stirring.
Whether you’re 43 or 63, the themes are the same: letting go, rising up, and reimagining who you get to be now. That is what the perimenopause and post menopause are all about. -
Ugh, sorry to hear your menopause symptoms are brutal. We’ll never try to pretend they don’t suck. AND in camp, we’re done letting the physical aspects of menopause be the WHOLE story. We’re also recognizing that there is so much more going on - a breaking free, a shedding of all that no longer serves, the opportunity to steer these next chapters to be truly wildly fulfilling, and to feel soooo good about who we are along the way.
So it’s a both and. The symptoms and changes can suck AND there are so many opportunities - we are ripe for the changes for which our souls have been longing. That’s what we’re tapping into at camp. -
Definitely take that into consideration - your time and energy are important and valuable. Only you know what you have room for.
And, think about this: camp isn’t another obligation — it’s a release valve. Each session creates what sounds like some much-needed space for you to tap into what feels good, what feels right, what feels true.
Plus perhaps most relevant of all here: when you nix should’s and old rules (like we do in camp), it tends to lighten your schedule ;) -
The 6-week Camp session is designed to be a complete experience to facilitate you to break at least one rule or step out of one way of being that you feel no longer serves you.
Also, as a Camp graduate, you have the option to join in the ongoing Boldest Year Yet group. You can read all about Boldest Year Yet here.

“So much has rearranged to allow me to do the work that I’ve always known I’m here to do.”
“My heart feels so much support and the sweetness of having you all at my back. The change I really see in my life, a great, great thing that has shifted for me, is that I’ve opened to love in my relationship, and for me that’s, wow, that’s a very big shift. Allowing myself to trust in love. I have also started taking being in service to another level and have found a new partner to work with. I feel so full I can’t quite find the words but to keep it simple, I’m very grateful for the group and each of you.”
- Crystal L.
“I’m giving myself permission to be even more weird!”
“Because of the program I’m giving myself more permission to be even more weird! Like showing up with my clients and groups and just giving myself more freedom to be first-thought best-thought. With my social media feeds I actually lost some followers and I’m like great see ya and that’s different for me. That’s REALLY different.
Before the program, I felt mostly alone, so it felt so good to be with other women in the same place in life. It was a reminder - oh wow I have a lot to give and seeing that other women have a lot to give - we have a lot of wisdom to give the world and each other. I came away with confidence and also a lot more love for my aging changing body.
- Beth E.
“I’ve opened to love in my relationship.”
“I’m just so grateful to all of you, it’s hard not to get emotional. My life has shifted a lot and in such a supportive way that I can’t wait to keep moving forward. So much has rearranged to allow me to do the work that is so much bigger, and that I’ve always known I’m here to do. And although I don’t have everything planned and figured out, it’s happening and I’m just so grateful to you all for being part of this truly profound shift in my life and for walking the journey with me.”
- Eliana B.
“Inspiration to stand up and speak loud.”
This has been a sacred circle of women strengthening and nurturing each other, and what I’ve gotten from group is the courage, confidence, love, support and inspiration to stand up and speak loud.
- Shelby M.
