It’s the midlife dilemma that we know all too well.

To grey or not to grey requires us to free ourselves from anti-aging, media-fueled bullshit in order to make a decision that comes from within.

Decide to grey or to keep dyeing.

Either way we support you - we just want your choice to come from your actual inner truth!

• No more stress about what to do for your hair color.

• Actual excitement for next steps to grow the grey out, OR deep peace to keep dyeing because it comes from what you want rather than external pressure.

• Freedom from what others think about your hair.

• Feel beautiful about your hair, rather than stressed and tired about it all.

• Feel like yourself again. With a new strut in your walk. Because you’ve consciously chosen this new version of yourself, whether you go gray or not.

• Buoyed up by your To Grey Or Not To Grey group to stand firmly in your own beliefs and desires about your hair.

The familiar vicious cycle for so many of us:

Ugh, time to spend all the time and money to touch up my hair color.

Can’t believe I have to do this every month. Aging is such a bitch.

And it’s never quite the color I’d like it to be.

But if I don’t touch up, it will do that fading thing, plus the grey roots will start to show.

And if I grow out the grey, I will look OLD.

Ugh, I don’t want others to see me that way, much less see myself that way.

But I am soooo tired of dyeing my hair.

And it’s not like this will stop, this is for the rest of my life.

Maybe I should just let it grow out?

I wish I could just have my original hair color back.

It was much simpler then.

But it’s never coming back.

Ugh, time to spend all the money and time to dye my hair” (Vicious cycle begins again)

It’s a big freaking decision to go grey or to keep dyeing.

It affects how you perceive yourself.

How others perceive you.

How you’re treated in society.

But one thing is clear:

The real answer comes from your inner truth when you strip away all external messaging.

Each of us deserves:

To choose to grey or not to grey from a place of joy and love for ourselves and what we want.

(Rather than from social conditioning or worry about what others will think)

  • If you choose to go grey...

    • Feel not only truly at peace with growing out your grey, but actually excited about it.

    • Have an army of amazing women cheering you on as you grow your grey while navigating friend, family and cultural responses, plus your own reactions as your grey grows.

  • If you decide to keep dyeing your hair…

    • Dye your hair from a place of joy and true desire, rather than from fear about how the world (and you) will perceive you with grey hair.

    • Have an army of amazing midlife women celebrating your clarity, and your decision to keep dyeing your hair because it’s what YOU want.

Let’s get you clear on your decision and support you in it!

Power isn’t in the color of your hair.

It’s in who decided.

So, a moment of truth.

Before you scroll any further, take a deep breath.

Ask yourself:

How much of my energy has been tangled up in hair dye, aging fears, and other people’s opinions?

What if I could drop all that noise, make my choice, and feel damn good about it — grey or not?

If your body just sighed in relief… this incubator is calling you.

This isn’t about hair or which choice you make — it’s about reclaiming your right to decide who you are becoming.

Session 1: Break Free

  • Feel the deep exhale of being seen — share your grey-hair story with women who get it, and feel your stress melt as you’re witnessed without judgment.

  • We’ll give cultural grey-shaming the middle finger — we’ll name it and release its grip for good so that we can each see the truth about what we want for our hair without external influence.

Session 2: Clear The Way

  • Silence the chorus of friends, family, and ads in your head so your own voice and choice can finally take center stage.

  • Gently grieve the loss of your original hair color so that you’re not stuck in the past and can move forward with clarity.

Session 3: Own Your Truth

  • Get crystal clear on what you truly want for your hair — free from anti-aging pressure, cultural noise, or fear of being seen as “old.”

  • Speak your truth out loud and feel the power that comes when you express it without censoring or worrying about what others will think.

Session 4: Claim Your Decision

  • Claim your decision — to go grey or to keep dyeing — and feel the solid ground of owning it fully.

  • Celebrate with your sisters as you graduate into your new, unapologetically authentic look (and energy).

Hi I’m Lisa, Your Guide

And have I been on a To Grey Or Not To Grey journey of my own!

At first I plucked my grey hairs, then when there were too many, I couldn’t bear the thought of no longer having that full head of rich brown hair, so I got into the dye cycle.

Dyeing did its job, but in my case I could never get it to fully match my old color. Plus the money, the time and the hassle - I really wanted to break free. But that meant coming to terms with going grey.

As an Interspiritual Minister with a specialty in major life passages, I applied everything that I knew about loss and change to create a process for myself - the exact process that we’ll do in To Grey Or Not To Grey - and finally got clear that, by my own desires, I wanted to go grey.

I went through the awkward growing-out phase and even had tri-color hair for a while, which was so silly that I had to laugh.

Now my grey is fully grown and I’m salt and pepper with solid grey streaks on either side of my face. It has been a deeply enriching personal growth journey with soul-searching along the way.

And even though I decided to go grey, I fully support those who choose to color. The key is that its our CHOICE.
